Job Description
- Review and analyze user stories and acceptance criteria and develop effective test plans and automated tests in collaboration with the development team;
- Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, building test scenarios and acceptance tests;
- Noting all testing actions you have performed in daily and weekly reports;
- Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or an IT related discipline
- 3+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer in Test (this is just an indication, your actual skills matter the most)
- Hands-on and strong experience with Ruby or Java;
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Hands-on experience with web browser automation tools (e.g. Selenium / Cucumber);
- Knowledge in Appium for mobile testing is a plus;
- Good understanding of all levels of the testing pyramid;
- Experience in defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, X-Ray etc Familiarity with relational database engines (SQL);
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum software development methodology
- Fluent communication skills in English (both written & verbal)
