Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Application Product Manager II to lead the development and enhancement of our mobile applications. As a Product Manager II, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy, roadmap, and execution to deliver innovative and user-friendly mobile experiences that support our mission and align with our organizational strategy and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the development and success of mobile applications throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they meet customer needs and achieve business goals.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends, and use this information to define product requirements and prioritize features.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with organizational priorities and strategic goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the bridge between customers, development teams, and the business, balancing competing demands while keeping the product vision and strategy in mind.
- Product Launches: Manage product launches, ensuring all aspects of the launch are executed smoothly and effectively.
- Innovation: Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in mobile app development to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with 6 years of experience in product management or a related field. Alternatively, 8+ years of experience without a degree.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on mobile applications and direct-to-consumer experiences. Demonstrated ability to lead product development from ideation to launch.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with mobile app development processes and technologies, as well as website management, digital marketing, advertising, e-commerce, payments, and/or CRM/audience management technology solutions.
- Methodologies: Knowledge of technical software delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Waterfall), process engineering, change management practices, and business management methodologies.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to facilitate and resolve disagreements over scope, design, and requirements.
- Innovation: Strong understanding of current technology offerings and the ability to stay current with emerging trends.
- Testing: Knowledge of testing methodologies and user acceptance techniques to enhance product quality.
- Results-Driven: Proven record of completing work in a fast-paced environment.
- Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, web analytics tools, collaboration tools, and basic wireframing for concept communication and storytelling.
