We’re seeking a dynamic Sector Manager to lead our growth in Indonesia’s mining sector. In this high-impact role, you’ll take ownership of client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and represent Aggreko as a trusted partner in the industry. You’ll work across functions, build strong networks with key decision-makers, and promote our unique value propositions.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the development of annual sales and marketing budgets aligned with overall company strategy.

  • Target, acquire, and maintain strategic national accounts to drive business growth and alignment with company goals.

  • Conduct market research and customer opportunity studies to identify trends, needs, and growth potential.

  • Develop and implement pricing and market entry strategies based on in-depth market analysis.

  • Build and strengthen customer relationships, identifying their needs and aligning solutions through effective sales strategies.

  • Create and execute marketing and sales programs to enhance brand awareness and capture new market segments.

  • Deliver quality leads and business opportunities to local teams while mentoring sales reps to boost performance.

  • Drive a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasting to ensure long-term revenue and EBITDA growth.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to craft compelling value propositions and close complex deals.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, engage with trade bodies, and share market intelligence to support strategic decision-making.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in selling or renting power generation equipment, ideally to mining clients in Indonesia.

  • Strong knowledge of the Indonesian mining industry and its key players.

  • Background in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred) with an advanced diploma or equivalent qualification.

  • Proven sales expertise with the ability to manage pipelines, forecast effectively, and build lasting client relationships.

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with deep insight into market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning.

  • Solid business and commercial acumen, including the ability to develop high-value, complex proposals.

  • Technical aptitude to understand and communicate Aggreko’s products and solutions to customers.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
