RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop a robust SDK for Unreal Engine, delivering intuitive and reliable tools for seamless integration of Xsolla products into client projects.
- Build high-performance plugins and modules for Unreal Engine using C++ and Blueprints, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Maintain compatibility across multiple Unreal Engine versions, optimizing performance and ensuring a smooth developer experience.
- Create and continuously update clear, well-structured technical documentation, including comprehensive usage examples and best practices.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and optimization to enhance SDK stability, reliability, and overall performance.
- Collaborate closely with QA, project managers, and cross-functional development teams to gather feedback and refine SDK functionality.
- Contribute to feature planning and development, identifying opportunities to enhance the SDK with tools and capabilities that benefit developers.
- Support partner integration teams by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to SDK implementation and usage.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 4/5, developing high-quality solutions.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and deep understanding of the Unreal Engine API.
- Proven track record of creating and maintaining plugins and modules for Unreal Engine.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine build systems, such as Unreal Build System, ensuring efficient compilation and deployment.
- Expertise in Blueprints and seamless integration with C++ to optimize workflow and functionality.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Experience working with version control systems like Git for streamlined collaboration and project management.
- Strong skills in writing clear and concise technical documentation to support developers.
- Sufficient English proficiency for effective documentation, communication, and collaboration within a global team.
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with other game engines or SDKs, demonstrating adaptability across different development environments.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes with the ability to automate plugin builds for efficient deployment and updates.
- Experience integrating analytics, monetization, or other gaming industry solutions to enhance game performance and revenue generation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python for automation, tool development, or workflow optimization.
