We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join the IT Services team. The candidate will provide technical and administrative support for all corporate devices (laptops and desktops) and contribute to the development of Identity Management services (Okta). The primary responsibilities include managing day-to-day MDM operations, resolving Endpoint Management escalations, and performing systems updates for end users. The role also involves planning and implementing innovative MDM solutions in the existing environment via ManageEngine.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, including device enrollments and deletions, ensuring all implementations align with corporate security policies and standards
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk and Security Team to define device management requirements, engineer appropriate solutions, perform pilots, implement changes, and provide post-release support
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including conceptual descriptions, task-based procedures, configurations, and reference guides
  • Utilise company ticketing software to track, manage, and document the problem-solving process for system-related issues.
  • Generate and provide regular reports to management on device and system performance, adherence to security policies, and operational efficiency
  • Support ticket resolution by assisting IT staff during the process and ensuring effective communication with end users throughout the ticket lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Experience with ManageEngine and its MDM suite
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience (2+ years) with Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, including device control, deployment, and support
  • Proven ability to supervise MDM operations, including mentoring and coaching team members
  • Familiarity with best practices for MDM service implementation and ongoing optimisation
  • Strong technical expertise in Mac OS and Windows at a senior administrator level
  • Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to keeping documentation up to date

Nice to have:

  • Experience in scripting and implementing scripts for MDM systems
  • ManageEngine Certified Admin/Certified Expert certification
