We are looking for an enthusiastic Mid/ Senior Robotics Engineer, who will support our engineering team throughout the development and prototyping of innovative automated robotic systems on behalf of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Mid/Senior Robotics Engineer, you will:
- Software Development and Integration: Develop and integrate software for robotic systems, ensuring compatibility with hardware and seamless functionality.
- Simulation and Testing: Use Gazebo and ROS1/ROS2 for simulation and testing to validate robot behaviors and performance across various operational scenarios.
- Algorithm Development: Design and implement motion planning and control algorithms for multi-DOF robotic arms and autonomous mobile robots.
- Version Control and Containerization: Contribute to the codebase using Git and GitHub, following version control best practices; containerize applications with Docker for consistent testing and deployment.
- Documentation: Assist in documenting technical workflows, system designs, and testing outcomes for team knowledge sharing and project tracking.
- Collaborative Team Contribution: Participate in brainstorming and evaluation sessions to support ongoing innovation, offering technical insights and solutions.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 3+ years in robotics software engineering, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying robotic systems.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in Python and/or C++.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with ROS1/ROS2 and Gazebo for robotic development and testing.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control and Docker for containerization.
- Knowledge of motion planning, control for multi-DOF manipulators, and navigation/path planning for autonomous vehicles.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to addressing engineering challenges.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English skills for clear technical communication.
- Adaptability and Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work well under pressure.
