Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system integration, performance, and deployment.

Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for mission-critical systems, focusing on Linux-based environments and containerized applications.

Implement and maintain system configurations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and stability.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for supported systems, including configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Perform system installation, configuration, and support of fielded systems.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
-
Role includes providing level 1-2 end-user support through answering phone calls and emails. Providing remote support will include assisting the user with configuration changes, patch updates, and functionality testing.
Basic Qualifications:
-
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 4-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum 12 years of experience will be considered.

Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, including system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
-
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
-
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.

Must be comfortable taking phone calls from the customer and providing end-user support.
-
On-site work (no remote) with ability to travel up to 25%.

Must be a resident of Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
-
U.S. citizenship and current Final Secret Clearance is required. Ability to maintain active final Secret Clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
3+ years of experience in Linux systems administration.
-
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift platform.

Experience with advanced network configuration and management, including managed switches and firewalls.

Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting.
-
IAT Level II Certification.

Pay Range:Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
