Mid Full Stack Engineer (.NET + Angular)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Mid-level Full Stack Engineer to join our expanding Tech & Product Hub in Madrid. As part of a strategic investment in our technology, we are building new teams to enhance our payments platform and develop innovative eCommerce products that will shape the future of online shopping.

In this role, you will work with ground breaking technologies, designing and developing high-performance, scalable solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and follow best practices to ensure the delivery of robust and efficient software. Responsibilities

• You will develop product features and actively participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, as well as post-deployment monitoring and bug fixing.
• Working in an Agile environment, you will be part of a product team, contributing to the continuous evolution of ESW's suite of eCommerce products, especially on the Payments side.
• You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and QA Engineers within our development teams, and it is important that you feel comfortable working in an international setting.
• You will be working on large-scale, complex applications using the .NET, Angular, and Azure development stack.

Requirements

• 3+ years commercial experience in Software Development.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer science.
• Experience in payments is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of C#.
• Knowledge of development stack: Web Api, C#.NET, ASP.NET, Restful architecture, Microservices, SQL or NoSQL Databases.
• Experience in front-end development, ideally with Angular. However, candidates with React or Vue experience who are willing to learn Angular are also welcome.
• Bonus: Any messaging experience with Kafka or any similar technologies.
• Bonus: Experience in Domain Driven Design (DDD), software design patterns and modern SDLC methodology, such as CI/CD, Unit test and end to end test experiences.
• Experience contributing to solution designs.
• Work within an Agile SCRUM team. We use the Agile methodology combined with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
• Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and enthusiasm for tackling tough problems.
• Outstanding communication skills required – primarily the ability to communicate ideas.
