We have an opportunity for a Microbiologist to join our Quality Services (QS) team in the Microbiology lab reporting to the Lab Leader.

What you will do:

  • Adhering to all GMP and safety precautions as outlined by the Kao Cincinnati Plant Leadership via written procedures and safety standards (i.e. SDS).
  • Ensuring the lab is audit-ready and practicing good housekeeping.
  • Complete testing in a GMP-compliant environment per internal methods.
  • Support corporate quality programs with consumer complaint and PET testing.
  • Monitor Plant environmental through routine sampling.
  • Record testing results in controlled datasheets, notebooks, and SAP-QM.
  • Comply with all established good documentation practices.
  • Document and investigate OOS results to identify any laboratory error.

What you will need:

  • This position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology (other majors will be considered with relevant experience).
  • 1+ years of microbiology experience, preferably in a cGMP regulated environment.
  • Individual must be willing to work OT when needed.
