THE JOB:
As a Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for providing service to our guests at the MGM Rewards desk to include promoting and enrolling them in the MGM Rewards program and conducting redemptions and transactions of MGM Rewards promotions. By understanding our guest’s unique stories and needs, you will deliver WOW experiences that our guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Work with a diverse team of enthusiastic people in a FUN and fast-paced environment to achieve company goals
- Explain to guests the MGM Rewards program in detail, enroll guests in the MGM Rewards program, and redeem guest points and offers
- Analyze a guests casino play to determine and establish comp profiles for their reservations
- Assist guests with all requests, answer questions about the MGM Rewards program, direct marketing offers, MyVegas (where applicable), and special event offers
- Engage with guests by smiling and hearing their story as you properly promote events at MGM Grand Detroit with both online and traditional advertising technics
- Creatively brainstorm new promotional ideas with our marketing management team
- Own the guest experience in any situation by using problem solving skills to WOW the guest
THE STARTING RATE: $19.54
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Has a high energy, positive attitude, and likes to have fun while doing their best work
- Previous guest service experience preferably in the hospitality industry
- Is a team player
- Is welcoming and engaging
- Has basic knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Can handle multiple tasks at one time
- Displays excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills
