Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products.

The MES Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for providing CIM/MES implementation support to customers.  A principal activity of this position is to test MES system, product documentation and deploy the MES products to resolve customer manufacturing requirements. Other responsibilities include involvement in pre-sales product consultation as well as providing consulting on product to domain mapping to other departments and implementation teams.  Position is designated to different products line customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mainly responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of software and products. Core responsibilities of the QA role include:
  • Testing and Inspection: Write test plans and test cases, execute tests and record test results.
  • Defect Handling: Report discovered defects to the development team and work with the team to resolve the issues.
  • Collaborative communication: Work closely with the development team to promote communication and coordination between teams.
  • Quality improvement: Reduce software defects and errors through testing and inspection, and improve customer satisfaction and trust.
  • Security assurance: Test the safety and reliability of software and products to ensure their normal operation and protect user data and privacy.
  • Improve efficiency: Finding and repairing defects as early as possible can help improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Document Management: Responsible for the management and update of relevant documents required by the quality management system.
  • Training and Development: May involve quality management training and coaching for other team members, as well as software training for customers

Special Requirements:

  • Computer, Electronics & Industry bachelor degree or MBA with Information system background.
  • A minimum of  2 years’ experience in operating an MES system in a production semiconductor, LCD, LED & Solar environment.
  • Expert knowledge of manufacturing systems as FAB300, WorkStream, Promis, Factoryworks & SiView and the wafer fabrication factory floor.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
