The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mendix Developer for a W2 role to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have mid-level experience in building and deploying applications using Mendix, contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of our enterprise applications. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on exciting projects and to grow your skills in a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using the Mendix platform, following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in design sessions and provide input on system architecture and application design.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of existing Mendix applications to improve performance and user experience.
- Stay updated on Mendix platform features and advancements, and recommend improvements to enhance the functionality of our applications.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mendix Developer, with a strong understanding of the Mendix platform.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or .NET.
- Familiarity with database management and tools, specifically SQL and non-relational databases.
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Nice-to-haves:
- Certification as a Mendix Rapid Developer.
- Experience with integrating Mendix applications with third-party services and APIs.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for application deployment.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles for web applications.
- Previous experience in project management or leading small development teams.
