This role is part of our Media Strategy team. We deliver end to end data driven campaigns which foster both creativity and performance. Our specialty is creative, digital communication that drives performance, boosts brand awareness, and shifts market share for our clients such as eBay, Douglas, Aldi, Smart, and more! JOB PURPOSE
For our digital marketing department, we’re looking for Content Strategist. Someone who creates performance-based content strategies for our clients on both campaign and always-on level, for paid and organic content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a Content Strategist at DEPT® you show your clients how to present their audience with the best possible content across the different channels of the customer journey.
- From web to social (and sometimes even (D)ooH), you know your channels and how to make them work for you.
- You help clients achieve their business goals by planning the type of content that ‘does the trick’. With your creative mindset, you are able to advise on the best creative angles to address and impress.
- You collaborate with creatives on creative concepts, sometimes even owning this fully for digital.
- Besides being a content expert, you are able to manage your own clients and present your own work.
- Managing the content of all on-site activities like landing pages and teasers;
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Have experience in a content marketing role, preferably at a digital agency;
- You know the creative possibilities of digital channels like social, display, search en email;
- Are familiar with SEO and UX
- You know how to create a content strategy but you also get energy from creating creative campaign concepts;
- Have great communication skills (verbally and written) and the ability to persuade;
- Have experience in client management;
- Not afraid to present your own work to clients or host workshops;
- Always know what question to ask at which moment;
- Not afraid to make (on-the-spot) decisions;
- Experience with direct reports / managing juniors a plus;
- Know how and when to switch from serious to play;
- Are ambitious, results oriented and know how to plan and organize;
- Are fluent in both German and English;
