Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly strategic Medical Affairs/KOL Liaison to lead our medical engagement strategy, build advocacy within the dermatology and skincare community, and elevate Bubble’s doctor-centric initiatives. This individual will be responsible for forging strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), dermatologists, researchers, and professional organizations, ensuring Bubble remains at the forefront of science-backed skincare.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Affairs & Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute Bubble’s Medical Affairs strategy, including medical education, scientific communications, and advocacy initiatives.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with dermatologists, researchers, academic institutions, and professional skincare organizations to amplify Bubble’s credibility.
  • Drive the development of medical affairs strategic plans, including publications, advisory boards, educational programs, and conference participation.
  • Develop and manage scientific sponsorship and research opportunities aligned with Bubble’s innovation pipeline.

KOL & HCP Engagement

  •  Identify, recruit, and nurture relationships with top-tier KOLs, dermatologists, and healthcare professionals (HCPs) to serve as brand advocates and advisors.
  • Develop and oversee medical speaker programs, speaker bureaus, and educational webinars to communicate Bubble’s scientific messaging effectively.
  • Provide medical and scientific training to internal teams to ensure accurate, evidence-based messaging across all communications.

Scientific Communications & Content Development

  • Lead the development of scientific presentations, slide decks, white papers, and clinical insights to support Bubble’s credibility in the industry.
  • Partner with R&D to translate skincare science into digestible, consumer-friendly education while maintaining dermatological accuracy.
  • Support the marketing and PR teams with medical marketing communications, ensuring clinical claims and messaging align with regulatory and scientific standards.

Industry Advocacy & Conferences

  • Represent Bubble at dermatology conferences, industry events, and scientific forums, building brand visibility among medical professionals.
  • Organize and participate in advisory boards, roundtables, and panel discussions with KOLs to gather insights that inform product innovation and education.
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging dermatological research and skincare trends to ensure Bubble remains ahead of the curve.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced degree preferred (MD, PhD, PharmD, or relevant scientific background in dermatology, cosmetic science, or medical research).
  • 5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, KOL Liaison, or Scientific Communications within skincare, dermatology, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong existing relationships with dermatologists, KOLs, and industry experts in the skincare/dermatology space.
  • Experience developing scientific content, medical presentations, and clinical education materials for both professional and consumer audiences.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific information into accessible, engaging content for different stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in sponsoring or leading investigator-initiated research and supporting clinical claims development.
  • Highly collaborative, strategic, and self-driven, with strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, independent brand environment with a mission-driven approach.
