Responsibilities
- Advise and support sales and customers in the selection of the correct equipment for specific applications
- Provide technical support and direction for existing product lines
- Ability to travel for customer training, presentations, machine/cycle optimization and support field installations
- Direct the work of process engineers, Technical Service engineer/manager to collect data for machine sizing
- Assist process engineers in their duties of installing customer molds to demonstrate machines for customer acceptance and sales demonstrations
- Become a subject matter expert with all Milacron control systems
- Design and perform testing as required for future sizing requirements
- Design and perform testing as required for future machine design criteria
- Complete and document machine/processing testing
- Ability to provide technical reports to customers, engineering and suppliers
- Communicate with sales force, customers, engineering and organization in a professional manner
- Ability to travel for trade shows for setup/teardown and during the show
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work around moving equipment, fork trucks, cranes, heavy equipment, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours on short notice
Skills
- Ability to effectively build and/or manage a applications team
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in the use of PC based applications, including Microsoft Office.

- 3D CAD Model & Analysis per Creo
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and thermodynamic systems
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of molding/tooling is preferred
- Strong Mathematic and analytical aptitude
- Ability to read technical drawings and documents
- Travel 20%-30%
Education
- 2 Year Degree in Engineering Technology and 2 years of related experience , Bachelor degree preferred
