The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $45,000 - $97,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:What You Will Do in this Role:
- Own and execute mechanical engineering scope for material handling systems
- Perform site audits to collect project and solution information
- Complete the design of semi-complex systems that integrate mechanical hardware, controls components, and software
- Provide support for specification and preparation of engineering sketches, manufacture equipment, and layout drawings, with appropriate follow-up
- Follow Purchase Request and Order Entry processes to purchase equipment and release assemblies for manufacturing
- Support on-site installation and engineering commissioning efforts as required
- Work with team members and customer to solve problems and troubleshoot equipment on-site
- Regularly report on project performance including but not limited to: on-time delivery, budget, quality, risks
- Participate in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction
What We are Looking :
- BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering or related field of engineering
- (2-5) years of industry related experience or mechanical engineering experience preferred
- Knowledge of [Proficient in] CAD design software; AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, or similar
- Experience with MS programs, Word, Excel, TEAMS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Detail oriented
- Quality oriented
- Organization, analytical, reasoning and problem solving
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records
- Understanding and following directions
- Working under pressure, meeting inflexible deadlines, and maintaining composure
- Capable of providing technical assistance to support staff and other employees
- Represent the organization as an internal contact and possibly a key external contact
- Travels up to 25% to customer locations
