Description
We are seeking a mechanical engineer to join the R&D department of an aesthetic medical device company.
- Creating detailed designs of multidisciplinary projects while working on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Working with other teams within the R&D department (software, electronics, physics, NPI) and the engineering team.
- Work with subcontractors in Israel and abroad and validate the supplied parts/assemblies.
Requirements
- BSc. in Mechanical Engineering
- At least two years of experience in multidisciplinary design – a must.
- Experience in a medical device company is advantageous.
- Experience in the following manufacturing methods as well as working with subcontractors is a must:
- Machining (turning/milling etc.).
- Sheet metal (bending/laser cutting).
- Experience in design for mass production – a must.
- Experience designing moving mechanisms, optomechanical assemblies, plastic injection molded parts, and heat exchange systems – are all advantageous.
- Candidate must be able to produce detailed drawings of parts and assemblies, as well as transferring product portfolios to the production line.
- SolidWorks experience is a must.
- EPDM experience is advantageous.
- 3D printing experience is advantageous.
