Master Data Process & Governance Manager
Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) is a global function within Takeda with the objective of enabling Takeda's business strategy, delivering innovative simplified solutions and cost reduction, improving service and providing a transformation engine for continuous improvement for Takeda. Master Data Management (MDM) CoE is the expert arm of Takeda MDM Organization, leading the development of Best in Class Processes, owning the global MDM Governance, and driving quality analytics. MDM CoE cooperates closely with the MDM Operations, which is responsible for the transactional area of MDM as well as with the Data, Digital & Technology function that has the product ownership of the MDM system.
Reporting to the MDM Process & Governance Lead, the 'MDM Governance & Process Manager' will be responsible for driving organizational change management, fostering effective communication, and promoting best practices to strengthen our master data community and relationships. The individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of master data processes across the organization, with a focus on user engagement, experience and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organizational Change Management: Support the MDM CoE and other GPEs' organizations that impact MDM processes through change initiatives, fostering adoption and alignment with key objectives.
  • Training and Communication: Design and deliver effective training programs for end-users and senior stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of system enhancements, translating the changes into impacts to the organization.
  • User Access Management: Oversee user access management and role design processes in MDG, ensuring compliance and security in system operations.
  • Global Process Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive global process documentation to support consistency and transparency.
  • Community Building: Strengthen relationships with key users by fostering a strong master data community and encouraging collaboration across teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between subject matter experts and the broader organization, ensuring alignment and shared understanding.
  • SharePoint Oversight: Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, ensuring accessibility, up- to- date content, and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Master Data Advocacy: Promote best practices in master data governance and ensure the master data organization is well-perceived within the company.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance master data processes and improve the user experience.


CORE ELEMENTS RELATED TO THIS ROLE:

  • Solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for fostering collaboration and driving improvements in master data practices.
  • Ability to interact with leadership and staff at all levels; strong personal presence.
  • Previous experience with process improvement workshops facilitation or trainings.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop training materials, process documentation, and communications
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and/or other collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with evident relationship building with professionals of all organizational levels.


EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Enjoy working with people and abstract processes, have an aptitude for high-quality work, and have strong drive to improve and bring forward new solutions
  • Min. 2 years of experience in Master Data processes, preferably with SAP products
  • Change Management, or comparable qualification - is a plus
  • Is proficient with small-scale Project Management and the related methodology, any certification, such as PMI CAPM or Prince2 Foundation - is a plus
  • Microsoft Office suite is an essential tool
  • Excellent command of the English language
