Newsweek is seeking a Marketing Strategist to join our team and lead B2B and brand marketing efforts. This role will drive awareness, lead generation, and commercial partnerships by developing and executing strategies that amplify Newsweek’s reputation and value proposition in the marketplace.
As part of our growing Marketing team, you’ll work closely with sales, product, and editorial teams to craft campaigns and content that engage enterprise clients, build trust, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical thinker with a passion for creating impactful marketing strategies that resonate with decision-makers across industries.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies:
- Build and implement B2B marketing strategies to drive awareness, lead generation, and engagement with key target audiences.
- Collaborate with sales and partnerships teams to align marketing initiatives with commercial objectives.
- Craft and refine Newsweek’s brand messaging to position the company as a trusted partner for thought leadership and innovative solutions.
Content Creation and Thought Leadership:
- Develop a robust content program, including white papers, case studies, articles, webinars, and social media campaigns, tailored to target industries.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure content quality, tone, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Oversee the creation of client success stories and case studies to demonstrate Newsweek’s impact.
Campaign Management:
- Design and execute multi-channel campaigns in HubSpot, leveraging digital, social, email, and events to engage target audiences.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on insights and data.
- Support account-based marketing (ABM) efforts, tailoring approaches for high-value clients.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 3 - 5+ years in B2B marketing, brand marketing, or related fields, targeting enterprise clients.
- Proven experience developing content and campaigns for industries such as healthcare, technology, or finance.
- Background in ABM (Account-Based Marketing) is a plus.
Skills:
- Fluent in HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
- Expertise in content strategy, creation, and distribution across digital and social platforms.
- Strong understanding of lead generation tactics and nurturing strategies.
- Experience working with analytics tools to measure campaign performance and ROI.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
This is a Hybrid role for our NYC office (2 days in office)
Salary expectations: $100,000 to $130,000 commensurate with experience
