As a Marketing Strategist - Events, you’ll leverage your extensive marketing expertise to lead the marketing efforts for Hagerty signature events including Greenwich Concours, California Mille, Motorlux, and RADwood and support marketing strategy for Hagerty Garage + Social.  You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide creative direction, oversee product campaigns, and ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives. What you’ll do

  • Plan and create marketing communications and content to support ticket sales for Hagerty signature events.
  • Direct the development, continuous optimization, and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of your responsible business units drive revenue and achieve business objectives.
  • Ideate, plan, execute, refine, and report on product campaigns to maximize campaign performance and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and accountability, to maximize campaign performance and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Coordinate and align with internal media and public relations teams for cohesive marketing and media messaging
  • Collaborate with sponsorships team to find opportunities for cross promotion with event sponsors and company partners
  • Oversee the production of valuable and engaging creative for the company's online, digital, and physical presence, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all channels.
  • Present marketing strategies, campaign performance, and recommendations to executive leadership, demonstrating the impact of marketing efforts on revenue growth.
  • Align marketing projects and messaging with other business channels to accelerate growth and maintain consistency across audiences.
  • Build strategic partnerships, engage with third-party partners, and lead marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness, expand marketing channels, and drive revenue growth.
  • Stay up to date with current marketing techniques, online marketing trends, and best practices, driving innovation and maximizing revenue potential.
  • Use product intuition and data to drive ongoing improvements, while championing an experiment-focused culture.
  • Collaborate with insights and data analytics teams to develop ways to measure and optimize marketing performance and opportunities.

  • Strong marketing experience, demonstrating a track record of successfully driving revenue and achieving business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Ability to travel 6 – 8 times per year
  • Strong events marketing experience with proficiency in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to generate awareness and drive ticket sales.
  • Proven experience in budget control and resource allocation, ensuring optimal ROI from marketing spend and efforts.
  • Multi-channel marketing campaign background/knowledge with track record of leading campaign strategies across digital, media, organic social, and email.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Analytically minded, with experience in product analysis, performance metrics, experimentation, and data storytelling to identify areas of growth and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience working across national and regionalized campaigns with an understanding for local nuances.
  • Keynote creation and presentation skills that are ahead of the curve.
  • Proficient in project management across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Strong understanding and utilization of performance-based marketing strategies and tactics, including the value of A/B testing, analytics, and SEO
  • Ability to establish company-wide professional credibility and influence other leaders through effective business case development, involvement, communications etc.
  • A high level of business acumen, professionalism and organizational skills in managing projects and communications are critical to the success of this role.
  • Continual learning mindset, keeping up to date with the latest marketing techniques and best practices to drive innovation and revenue growth.
  • Ability to provide creative direction and oversight for marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all channels.

  • This position can be worked as a remote position within the United States.
  • Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
