Marketing Specialist (MY)

Fixed term contract

The Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our technology client’s marketing initiatives. This role is strategically focused on achieving and exceeding ambitious ad revenue targets by proactively securing significant brand and activation budgets from non-endemic and FMCG advertisers. 

This role will lead marketing strategies through their full lifecycle—from conception and development to meticulous execution—working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. It demands a commitment to driving marketing campaign excellence, ensuring our initiatives are impactful and innovative, and delivering measurable results.

Role: 

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to support marketing initiatives, with a focus on securing brand and activation budgets from non-endemic and FMCG advertisers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the team to achieve and exceed ad revenue targets. This includes active participation in brainstorming sessions, contributing to strategic planning, and working in synergy with various departments to optimise campaign performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Work with internal and external creative teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns, including 1 XL (360°) campaign per quarter and 4 S (Owned Media Channels: In-app, EDM & Social) campaigns per quarter.
  • Develop 3 compelling pitch decks per quarter, collaborating with various teams to gather insights, craft narratives, and design visually engaging materials that effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis and deliver comprehensive reports analysing success metrics, engagement levels, and areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops, working collaboratively with both internal and external partners to pitch innovative ideas.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners to drive marketing objectives.

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of marketing experience.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Strong track record of achieving marketing goals and revenue targets.
  • Good experience in campaign management: manage, plan, organise and execute a wide range of successful campaigns from inception to completion, within budget.
  • Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently in a timely and accurate manner, on budget.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with agencies, colleagues and suppliers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
