JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Marketing Events, the Global Marketing Specialist II will play a key role in supporting the strategic development, execution, and operational management of AGC Biologics' global marketing tradeshows and conferences. This individual is a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities around supporting the planning and execution of global events, managing vendor negotiations and contracts, extensive coordination and communication with the global Business Development team, and assisting with the development of all event marketing.
This role is critical to enhancing AGC Biologics' global brand awareness while supporting the overall success of marketing and business development activities.
This position is based at our Global Headquarters in Bothell, Washington. It is a hybrid position with the expectation of a minimum of 3 days/week in the office. There will also be occasional travel, including international, possibly 3-4 times per year.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Senior Manager, Global Events in the development of an annual external trade show and conference program, and internal company-led customer events in key global cities
- Manage annual event calendar, attendee lists, registrations, tracking, and travel and hospitality logistics ensuring regular communication with the Business Development team
- Manage operational tasks related to events, including vendor selections and agreements, invoices and payments, and ensuring all expenses are tracked against the annual event budget
- Assist with on-site event coordination as needed, ensuring seamless execution by overseeing booth set up by vendors, marketing materials arrival, and meeting room scheduling for customers
- Oversee the procurement of event merchandise, including promotional materials, swag, and giveaways, ensuring consistent branding and on-time delivery
- Collaborate with the rest of the Global Marketing team to help plan and execute event advertising, social media posts, email campaigns, and other marketing materials
- Assist with gathering competitive intelligence at events and conferences, making summary reports, and contributing to data-based recommendations on event improvements
- Support efforts to measure event ROI, analyzing results against relevant sales and marketing KPIs
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a Marketing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with customer relationship management tools (HubSpot and Salesforce)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to focus down to the small details of an event to ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Strong accountability and ownership mindset
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Preferred:
- Experience in the pharma, biotech, or healthcare sector
COMPENSATION RANGE
$59,760 - $82,170
