ABOUT THIS ROLE

Apex is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Project Manager to join our marketing team.  The Project Manager will lead and drive execution of highly strategic marketing projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will be skilled in various project management methodologies to ensure timely and successful delivery of marketing deliverables. 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize stand project management processes to ensure timely and effective delivery of marketing requests across multiple business lines.  

  • Facilitate alignment among cross-functional teams, ensure clear communication of project goals, timelines and expectation to all stakeholders.  

  • Create marketing funnel analytics to illustrate capacity planning and progression and of marketing projects.  

  • Oversee Vendor management, collaborating with external agencies to align strategies with organization objective while managing budget development and resource allocation. 

  • Continuously monitor project performance, identify challenges, risks and implement solutions to keep initiatives on track and aligned with company goals.  

  • Manage multiple strategic projects in parallel, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a face-paced environment.  

  • Lead project status meetings and clearly communicate updates to stakeholders and executives, ensuring transparency and alignment on progress, risks and next steps across the organization. 

  • Foster a culture of accountability and proactive problem solving within the team, driving results that support overall marketing objectives.  

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • 3+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of driving results. 

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Agile methodologies (e.g. PMI-ACP), and project management (e.g. PMP) preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana and Jira.  

  • Ability to develop Excel-based project management workbooks for tracking process, managing resources and analyzing project data effectively.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle stressful situations with professionalism.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
