At Sonos we want to create the ultimate listening experience for our customers and know that it starts by listening to each other. As part of the Sonos team, you’ll collaborate with people of all styles, skill sets, and backgrounds to realize our vision while fostering a community where everyone feels included and empowered to do the best work of their lives.

This role can be done from home

Building the world’s leading sound experience starts with the experience we provide for our people. That’s why we’ve been distributed from the start: initially between offices in Boston & Santa Barbara, and now with additional offices around the globe. This role can be done from any of our offices across the United States or remotely from home. It’s about impact, not location.

We are seeking a highly organized and data-driven Marketing Operations Associate to join our dynamic marketing team at Sonos. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline and optimize marketing workflows, systems, and campaigns, ensuring the efficient execution of marketing initiatives across channels. Your expertise in full-funnel marketing and diverse marketing channels, marketing technologies, and operational efficiency will be pivotal in helping Sonos achieve its strategic marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Systems & Tools Management: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and Marketing Operations planners to maintain and organize project folders and key documents (global marketing calendars, program milestones/delivery dates), communicate important shifts in schedules or delivery dates, and lead run-of-show planning.

  • Campaign Execution & Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, product, paid media, etc.) to ensure the smooth execution of marketing campaigns. Driving improvements in key metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and customer retention.

  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements within marketing operations and collaborate with stakeholders to implement more efficient workflows. Champion best practices for campaign planning, tracking, and post-campaign analysis.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing, Creative, and Media teams to align marketing operations with broader business goals and ensure smooth execution of integrated campaigns. Provide operational support for cross-departmental projects and initiatives.

  • Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to other marketing team members on marketing operations tools and best practices. Assist in onboarding new team members and stakeholders to relevant systems and workflows.

  • Budget Tracking & Vendor Management: Help manage the marketing operations budget by tracking expenses and ensuring efficient use of resources. Work with external vendors or agencies as needed to support marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in program management, marketing operations, marketing technology, or related fields.

  • Proven experience with campaign tracking, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Exceptional project management, collaboration and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of the consumer electronics industry or similar tech-focused markets is a plus.

Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. If you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.
