About the role

In this position, you will play a key role in driving the visibility and success of our product in a competitive market. We are looking for a candidate with a broad understanding of marketing and who is comfortable managing a variety of marketing initiatives. This role requires someone with a keen strategic eye, strong digital marketing skills, and experience developing website strategies to help us shape our content and optimize our site for lead generation.

This is an in-person role based out of our office in Sherwood Park, AB.

You might be the right fit if you:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within a technology or SaaS company.
  • Are a strategic thinker with strong digital marketing skills and an eye for detail.
  • Excel at turning ideas into action, focusing on effective and efficient execution.
  • Have a proven track record in developing website strategies that engage users, optimize content, and improve lead generation.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Can translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling marketing messages.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Are highly analytical and data-driven, with a proven ability to make decisions based on data insights.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and can take ownership of marketing initiatives from concept to execution.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on the development and implementation of comprehensive B2B marketing strategies that include content marketing, digital advertising, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and social media.
  • Lead the development and execution of a website strategy focused on maximizing user engagement and conversion. Your primary goal will be to ensure our website effectively converts visitors into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) by optimizing the content, layout, and user journey for a seamless and impactful experience.
  • Create and manage content strategies that align with customer personas and buyer journeys to support lead generation and brand engagement.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance user experience on our digital platforms and help maintain a clear, compelling, and conversion-focused website.
  • Analyze website and campaign performance metrics, provide insights, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to create targeted campaigns that drive lead generation and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and monitor industry trends.
  • Represent the marketing team in cross-functional projects and strategic discussions, advocating for best practices in digital strategy and brand positioning.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have experience working in a SaaS company
  • Marketing education is an asset, but not required. However, real world experience is a must.
