Job Description

We’re seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Marketing Manager for our Spine Team who acts as the ambassador of the products inhouse and externally. You’ll play a critical role in our Product Management & Marketing department by promoting customer solutions for our Spine Solutions. Your main responsibility is to drive and ensure long-term success for the portfolio.

Product Management & Marketing serves as the voice of the customer to internal Brainlab audiences and the voice of Brainlab to the customer. We are responsible for evolving our customer experience and for driving product commercialization by specifying, launching and maturing products.

Key responsibilities:

  • Transform the product strategy into a concrete global marketing roadmap and customer specific storytelling
  • Gather market, customer, partner and sales feedback to analyze customer needs and trends, competitive information and regional requirements to optimize our products and marketing
  • Develop product briefing including target groups, market analyses, positioning, features, benefits, and unique selling propositions – to be substantiated with clinical evidence (supported by Clinical Marketing)
  • Conceive, write and design product marketing collateral like product presentations, technical specifications, workflow videos, website appearance for the sales team in close cooperation with our Corporate Marketing team
  • Develop training for Sales, Regional Marketing, Distributors, and answer technical and clinical questions
  • Support marketing activities at tradeshows and on-site visits
  • Support physical and virtual inhouse visits at headquarters for product demos and in-depth discussions with customers
  • Gather market, customer, partner and sales feedback to analyze customer needs and trends, competitive information and regional requirements
  • Participate in relevant events and sales presentations to promote our products
  • Monitor global service sales and business performance against objectives and forecasts and provide regular reports with key business figures and KPIs

Qualifications

In order to exceed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, marketing management or a related discipline
  • 5+ years professional experience managing projects (in a marketing role) and creating effective marketing and sales materials, preferably with know-how in B2B in the medical, software or high-tech industry
  • Strategic and operational consulting portfolio with focus on marketing communication issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both German and English, experience in writing strategic communication briefings, sales presentations and other marketing assets
  • Experience in coordinating larger product (launch) campaigns and supporting with advertising strategies
  • Experience in managing video productions (product demos, clinical workflows, animations) and product photo shootings (Quotebase, collateral) for all product groups and various channels
  • Strong hands-on mentality and ability to interact with international and interdisciplinary teams
  • Confidence in using project management software
