THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As a Marketing Manager for France, the United Kingdom and Ireland, you will position Zalando as the leading online shop for fashion in those markets. You will manage all local marketing activities to further develop our brand KPIs and make Zalando a love brand, you will act as the guardian of the Zalando brand by ensuring consistency in communication across the different touchpoints.
This role is Berlin based and relocation is necessary.

The Marketing Manager identifies key customers, trends and competitive insights to guide decision making across the whole Zalando and multiple stakeholders, analyses and identifies commercial marketing levers to drive customer and business growth in the markets and monitor in depth the markets and competitive landscape dynamics

Manage local marketing budget aiming at maximising effectiveness of our investment across all channels

Plan, orchestrate and execute an annual marketing plan in close alignment and collaboration with various company stakeholders and teams, support translation of the plan into efficient and optimised media strategy and individual media plans in collaboration with the media team

Roll-out and amplify Zalando global campaigns in the local markets driving their relevance towards local customers and fit for commercial priorities, activate and amplify Zalando propositions (e.g. fashion, designer, etc.) securing market relevant mix

Plan, brief, execute and track local activations leveraging multiple touchpoints (from paid media, influencers, content creators to owned channels, newsletters, partnerships and sponsorships) in collaboration with various cross-functional stakeholders and expert teams (ex. consumer PR, corporate communications, retail etc.)

Manage local agencies supporting Zalando in the growth journey (creative agency / IM agency / media agency with media team collaboration)
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

You are a seasoned marketing generalist with solid experience (3-5 years of professional experience), preferably in e-commerce fashion industry with proven track record in executing annual marketing plan contributing to strengthening brand funnel development and brand equity

You speak perfectly French fluently (native / mother tongue language) and are fluent in English

Deep knowledge of the French market (focus market) to win the hearts & minds of our consumers further, you can provide insights into the local competitive landscape and market trends. Knowledge of the UK & Irish markets is a plus.

You have an experience in end-to-end full funnel campaign execution and worked with creative and media agencies

Good understanding of the various Offline and Online Marketing Channels and Media, good knowledge of the influencer landscape

You have analytical skills to take into consideration competitive landscape, market, consumer insights and trends with ability to translate them into synthetic and actionable market marketing strategy and plan of initiatives driving growth

You are experienced in getting things done in a fast-paced and ongoingly changing matrix-structured organisational environment and at the same time you are a team player, well organised and feel comfortable steering several key projects with different stakeholders while acting as an owner & facilitator
