Business Bank (BB) provides products and services for customers across small, regional and commercial businesses. We also support businesses in a range of industry specialisations.
The Business Product Marketing Chapter works closely with our business partners who develop the products and services to support and enable our business customers to manage and grow their businesses. This Chapter sits within the Business Marketing Centre of Excellence, within Marketing and Corporate Affairs.
Do work that matters
As a Marketing Manager, you are responsible for co-designing and executing the customer-obsessed 1:1 communication strategies for business inclusive of product, segment and service propositions.
You will need to work collaboratively with product, segments and go to market teams to develop and effectively take our products to our extensive business customer base and retail banking where relevant.
To be successful in this role, you will need proven marketing experience in delivering customer-centric and data driven below the line marketing strategies, including cross sell, acquisition and retention programs.
Your responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of strategic 1:1 communication initiative for product, segment and service propositions that deliver toward business objectives – e.g. consideration, acquisition and retention.

Influencing and negotiating with business partners, to ensure delivery of communication initiatives that deliver winning customer experiences.

Build and manage comprehensive project plans and working groups to guarantee the delivery of high-quality programs of work within deadlines.

Work closely with internal partners such as product, digital and data to design a customer-centric communications strategy and to ensure consistency of message across all channels.

Ensuring all marketing campaigns support and promote the CommBank brand and reputation, and that they enhance the customer experience.

Build robust reporting of all campaigns and activity to demonstrate marketing contribution back to the business.
Your skills & experience:
-
Minimum 5 years’ B2B marketing experience ideally within financial services (preferred)

Experience delivering 1:1 customer communication campaign to a high standard.

Proven project management skills and ability to build project plans to deliver to timing and objectives.

Proven experience creating high-impact customer and data-led strategies.

Experience working in fast-paced environment balancing strategic and executional imperatives.

Previous experience working within a matrix organisation, with multiple stakeholders across the business.

Comfortability to navigate ambiguity and complexity in a matrix organisation.
