Job Description
We are seeking a Marketing intern that will work from May through August. The focus of the position is to assist in the coordination of promotional mix resources, public relations and marketing strategies and objectives. To be effective the person must communicate with management level personnel and take the initiative in implementing various marketing tactics. This is a great opportunity to build your resume and learn the tools and strategies used by modern marketing teams. The Marketing Intern reports to the Vice President of Marketing.
Coordination and support of all promotional efforts of the company as directed by the Corporate Marketing Specialist including:
- Assist in the coordination of trade show and event activities as selected the Corporate Marketing Manager.
- Assist in the coordination and maintenance of INX’s internet site communication and design.
- Support website project and updates including SEO projects
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support campaign strategy
- Help manage marketing project timelines and tasks in platforms like Asana or Trello
- Assist with email marketing and contact list segmentation using ZOOMInfo, Eloqua and CRM
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and cross-functional collaboration
- Organize and maintain marketing assets, documents, and content libraries
- Contribute creative ideas to support branding, thought leadership, and events
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
- How to use marketing tools like Google Analytics, Eloqua, ZOOMInfo, HootSuite, Survey Monkey and more
- Digital marketing best practices across social, email, and web
- Project management and internal collaboration processes using Asana Project Management
- How marketing supports sales, branding, and customer engagement
Qualifications
To be considered to this opportunity, you will be required to:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, curious, and proactive
- Comfortable with basic design tools like Canva (or willing to learn)
- Familiar with or eager to learn social media, SEO, and email marketing tools
- Available to work 30–40 hours/week during summer months
