Position Overview:

Reporting to the VP, Commercial Marketing, Global Epilepsy the INTL Marketing Director, Epilepsy will be responsible for ensuring strategies and initiatives are in place to impact growth and profitability in line with the business objectives. As such, she/he plays a key role in defining priorities and initiatives as well as driving their implementation to achieve the objective of sustainable and profitable growth of the Epilepsy portfolio across our international businesses (EU & AGM).

Key Responsibilities:

Core Responsibility: Drive growth and profitability of the Epilepsy portfolio in International markets (EU & AGM) through strategic initiatives and effective implementation.

  • Lead INTL Marketing Hub with a Focus on HCP Marketing, including:
    • Development and execution of the Epilepsy Commercial Operating Plan (eCOP)
    • Campaign development and deployment
    • Professional Education Programs & key congresses
    • Managing pricing & forecasting (S&OP)
    • Sales training initiatives
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
    • Conduct marketing analysis to create actionable plans for the VNS therapy in Epilepsy.
    • Ensure strategies align with customer needs and expectations for sustainable growth.
  • Team Management:
    • Oversee the International HCP Marketing Team, providing coaching and mentorship.
    • Foster operational efficiency and team effectiveness.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work with various internal partners (Sales Leadership, Medical Affairs) to address challenges and capitalize on business opportunities.
    • Gather and convey market insights to the strategic planning process.
  • Budget Management:
    • Maintain financial discipline with appropriate budget management.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Champion the LivaNova Business System for operational improvements and efficiency.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong leadership and influence skills.
  • Experience in Neuromodulation or Epilepsy markets is advantageous.
  • Proficient in strategic vision and analytical decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate creativity, and promote teamwork.
  • Fluency in English; additional EU languages preferred.

Educational Background:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing/Sales within Med Tech or pharmaceuticals.
  • A Master’s degree in Marketing/Business Administration/Health Science is desired.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
