About the Team

The Marketing Team’s primary responsibilities are to communicate the value of the Subsplash platform to the world—managing all outward-facing communications, leading demand generation efforts, creating go-to-market product strategies, facilitating brand management/identity, and more. We create beautiful and effective email campaigns, social media strategies, website content, product identities, videos, and more. We identify prospects and nurture them into quality leads for our sales team. For existing clients, we help them understand and engage with our products and new features. We have fun moving projects from concept to reality, and discovering what works well to help Subsplash and our clients succeed.

About the Role

As the Marketing Copywriter, you will report to the Content Marketing Manager. You are a creative and talented wordsmith with a passion for crafting compelling and impactful content that resonates with our audience across various platforms—including but not limited to: blogs, email marketing, social media posts, partnership materials, and more. 

The ideal candidate is not only a compelling copywriter but a detailed editor responsible for ensuring all content is high-quality, audience-focused, and aligned with Subsplash’s brand voice. Your position plays a critical role in shaping the voice and messaging of Subsplash, as well as ensuring consistency and impact in all written communications.

Your Priorities 

  • Develop, write, and update high-quality content for various platforms, including blogs, scripts, PR releases, and social media. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall marketing goals and brand voice. 
  • Interpret creative briefs to deliver fully developed content pieces.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure content accuracy and relevance. 
  • Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. 
  • Edit your own and your colleagues’ content for clarity and consistency.
  • Adhere to the company’s editorial guidelines and follow company policies and procedures for writing.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance, using insights to optimize future content. 
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in content creation and digital marketing. 
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

Qualifications

  • Models humility, innovation, and a drive for excellence.
  • 2+ years of copywriting experience, B2B SaaS company preferred.
  • Passionate about our products and how they can serve churches, ministries, and nonprofits.
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools (SEO certification is a plus.)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and produce well-informed content.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Proficiency with content management systems and social media platforms.
  • Willing to share a portfolio of past work.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is a plus.

Compensation

The total compensation for this role (base salary + bonuses) will be between $60,000-65,000/yr depending upon experience.

Location

Subsplash currently has operations in 27 states across the US! As much as we would love to have employees in as many states and countries as we have clients, we are currently limiting hiring to the states we already operate in. As a result of that, this role is only available as a 100% remote position if you reside in one of the following states: 

AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, IN, KS, KY, MO, MI, MN, NC, NM, OK, OH, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WY.

Unfortunately, if you do not reside in one of these states, we are unable to consider your application.
