The Opportunity
This position works out of our Maidenhead location in the Rapid Diagnostics division. Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.
As a leading provider of rapid diagnostic, reagents and workplace testing solutions we are partnering with local, national, and multinational organisations across many industries to build and deliver customised end-to-end solutions. Those solutions range from providing rapid point of care drug tests to a full-service offering consisting of industry-specific medical assessments, health surveillance, health & wellbeing services, random- and for cause drug testing on site and in our laboratories, and many more.
We are seeking a versatile Marketing Assistant to complement Abbott’s Toxicology International Marketing Services department. This position ensures projects are effectively scheduled, handled, and communicated. The Marketing Assistant will help monitor quality assurance, supervise the review, approval and renewal process, and distribute approved marketing assets, in addition to administration around these processes.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the Marketing Manager/team in tracking and launching marketing materials and projects on schedule.
- Coordinate with marketing managers, designers, and external vendors/agencies for timely project delivery.
- Communicate and negotiate project status with key stakeholders.
- Ensure quality assurance and proofreading.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as setting up purchase orders and processing invoices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of marketing coordination or project management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Superior attention to detail and demonstrated proofing aptitude.
- Solid experience with Microsoft Office products and Abobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe design programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop.
- Strong written English skills.
