JOB DESCRIPTION

Empower is seeking a dynamic Marketing Analytics Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in measuring, attributing, and deploying a multi million monthly advertising budget more efficiently and profitably. The ideal candidate is passionate about using data and analytics to drive business growth and help customers improve their financial situations.  They will also need to partner across marketing, credit, product, and tech teams to develop strategies and solutions that drive value for Empower and our customers.  The right person for this role is someone who shines while solving complex problems and is comfortable with a wide variety of technical tools.

Travel for company offsites is expected at a minimum 2 times a year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze campaign and channel level marketing performance

  • Analyze and monitor attribution data to drive cross-functional insights

  • Design tests to measure effectiveness of new strategies and budget allocations where data is limited or non-existent

  • Influence marketing budget allocation based on customer data and business intuition

  • Explore and implement cutting edge marketing technologies to improve attribution by channel Create automated systems to monitor business performance

  • Work closely with our BI team to improve data and data quality used for analytics

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. degree in engineering, business, finance, computer science or mathematics

  • 3+ years experience in data analytics or credit risk management

  • Experience designing tests Strong SQL and Python abilities

  • Highly fungible to pick up new tools and analytical methods

  • Comfort working with a variety of cross functional partners in tech, product, credit, and business

  • Strong and structured approach to problem solving and ability to use of frameworks to communicate complex topics in an effective manner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least one year at a bank or FinTech working in credit/marketing analytics

  • Experience with SKAN and attribution data
