Role Summary
As a member of the Individual Investors (II) Marketing team, the Market Strategist role is a highly visible position that supports critical change efforts, business value realization, and advocates for investment product opportunities to enable growth of the II business. Serving over 1.4 million investors, the Individual Investor organization manages over $200B in client assets and is a strategic area of focus for the firm.
In support of the Growth Program for II, this individual is responsible for overseeing the execution of key product marketing initiatives to ensure business value is realized. This role involves leveraging data and insights to inform the optimal alignment of experiences and offers against priority segments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the asset management industry and demonstrate expertise in managing multi-channel marketing programs.
We are looking for a candidate with an innovative, curious, growth-driven mindset who can deliver on existing planned activity as well as identify and deliver new initiatives to broaden our ability to educate our clients on the value of T. Rowe Price fund capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Omni-Channel Marketing Strategy
- Develop and oversee omni-channel marketing strategies affiliated with T. Rowe Price products, including, but not limited to, mutual funds and ETFs.
- Coordinate with other product partners to advocate on behalf of the Individual Investor client-base and contribute towards consistency with how T. Rowe Price products are positioned across all segments.
- Maintain ongoing communication with creative, activation, and client experience (CX) teams to ensure successful campaign execution and optimization.
Audience Strategy
- Collaborate with customer strategy and analytics teams to refine customer segmentation and targeting strategies to ensure marketing efforts reach the right audiences.
- Leverage primary and secondary market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors.
- Identify audience opportunities and establish marketing objectives to boost client engagement and the adoption of our investment products and services.
Integrated Experience Enhancement
- While acting as an investment product subject matter expert, work closely with the channel teams (site, mobile app, contact center) to ensure a seamless and engaging experience that aligns with the overall marketing strategy.
Research and Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, assess the competitive landscape, and surface customer insights.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings to inform marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 5+ years of total relevant work experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing business cases and campaigns.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to effectively connect with all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time, work under pressure and within tight timelines.
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
Base salary ranges:
$114,500.00 - $195,000.00 for the location of: California, New York
$100,500.00 - $171,500.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C
$91,500.00 - $156,500.00 for the location of: Colorado, Maryland, Washington and all other US locations
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
