Introduction:

We have an attractive opportunity for a Market & Product Analyst to join the EMEA Product Management group.

This would be a great opportunity for you to join a dynamic and proactive team. Not only will you gain inside knowledge of Donaldson as a company, but also you will receive training in our products and have the opportunity to interact with colleagues across departments and within EMEA.

You will be responsible to gather and analyze data regarding the market segment and/or product range. Defining product gaps is one of the key responsibilities together with maintaining the Donaldson systems with up-to-date Xrefs and vehicle cards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cross-references, applications, and product data.

  • Collect and analyze market and product data.

  • Provide support to external and internal customers with regard to product cross-references, product applications and specifications.

  • Identify sources (competitor data, catalogs, market prices, industry data, market research data,…) for data input and market analysis.

  • Provide product technical information, cross reference and application data to distributors, end users and sales.

  • Work together with Engineering, Purchasing, Pricing, Logistics, Marketing and Sales.

  • Support the teams with ad hoc projects where necessary.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Economics, Communication, Marketing,…).

  • Preferred at least 2 years of work experience (good knowledge of Excel is very important and having a logical mind-set in finding solutions). We are also opened to consider a recently graduated applicant who has the drive, is curious, has great attention to detail and works very well in Excel.

  • Interest and experience in maintaining and improving databases and systems.

  • Excellent MS Office skills.

  • Supporting team player, able to work with a wide range of people in an international environment.

  • Eye for detail and passion for execution.

  • Is accountable and result oriented.

  • Ability to set priorities in daily work.

  • Good communication in English. Other languages are a plus.

  • Eagerness to constantly learn, be open for improvement, and explore better ways of working.
