We develop, source, pack and supply components, materials and IKEA retail equipment products in areas where it benefits IKEA and the IKEA customer. Job Description
About the job
- Secure and develop the HFS (Home furnishing supplier) purchase of components/packaging and continuously improve our offer
- Build close business partnership with HFS/IKEA Purchasing/Retail
- Lead project for New Assignment and Business development implementation
- Set common goals and action plans together with IKEA Purchasing. Create network and secure common agenda with relevant internal stakeholders, in order to develop the business, maximise IKEA benefit and achieve our goals
- Lead the offer process based on the collected DNE (demand need and expectations) from HFS
- Monitor competitors on the market to secure competitiveness
- Responsible to prepare and secure Sales agreement package
- Be an IKEA Component Ambassador
- Handle market share, sales price set-up and negotiation with HFS
- Handle and work with forecast from Partner and Prioritised buyers to secure availability, on time delivery and develop the supply solutions (part of the total offer)
Qualifications
About you
- Economic and Financial knowledge and experience
- Very good understanding of price set up
- Preferred project management skills
- Basic technical competence
- Good market knowledge (competitors, prices etc.)
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Great networking skills, building trustful long-term professional relationship
- Businessmanship
- Ability to communicate in a clear and comprehensible way both verbally and written
- Negotiation skills
- Analytical skills with a holistic perspective
- Structured and organised in the daily work but as well flexible when need to meet demands of HFS
