Compliance Analyst - Market Data Services

As a Compliance Analyst within our Market Data Services team, you will be at the forefront of managing market data compliance and fostering key relationships with exchanges, brokers, and market data vendors worldwide. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a global team environment, driving cost efficiency and ensuring adherence to market data policies throughout JPM globally.
Job Summary:
As a Compliance Analyst in the Market Data Services team, you will be the primary contact for market data relationships, implementing licensing for proprietary applications, and managing external audits. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate compliance issues, ensuring our operations align with industry best practices. Your role will be pivotal in driving cost efficiency and improving service delivery across the firm.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for market data relationships with exchanges and brokers globally.
  • Implement market data exchange and broker licensing for proprietary applications.
  • Manage external market data audits, working directly with exchanges and third-party auditing companies.
  • Onboard applications to strategic infrastructure, ensuring compliance with exchange licensing policies.
  • Identify and mitigate market data compliance issues within proprietary applications.
  • Communicate and interact with lines of business on exchange price and policy changes.
  • Work with stakeholders to drive cost efficiency and improve service.
  • Provide advice on operational and technical standards, best practices, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop and manage key relationships with firm and industry contacts to facilitate understanding of business direction and best practices.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Familiarity with Market Data vendors and associated technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team player with confidence and ability to interact with line of business stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused, innovative, and analytical.
  • Strong time management skills, efficient multi-tasking, and ability to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on time and to a high standard.
  • Resourceful in using various tools and technology for analytical work.
  • Compliance mindset with alertness to potential issues for review and resolution.
  • Cost-conscious and able to adopt cost efficiency strategies across the firm.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Market Data Technology systems and platforms (DACS, B-pipe, FITS).
  • Understanding of external Market Data audits.
  • Understanding of Market Data policies and licensing.
  • Cloud computing experience (AWS).
  • Use of AI based tools.
