The Market Access Lead is responsible for driving the strategy development and execution of the Hospital and Retail market access strategy from a pre- and post- product launch perspective, as well as life cycle management. The role plays a key part in the country leadership team for Germany and is expected to be a key contributor to the Cluster Leadership team and Global Market Access network. This position will have a highly matrixed leadership impact without direct reports in the immediate future. The Lead will be the key responsible person in the German organisation for ensuring successful outcomes in the AMNOG reimbursement process for Mundipharma launch products.
In partnership with the Global functions, this role is crucial in ensuring that country payer perspective, needs and input are reflected in internal choices made on evidence development, commercial strategy and execution across the portfolio. The Lead will provide expert guidance to the entire German organisation on market access issues and will work closely with Global Pricing, Value strategy and Health Economics and Outcomes Research colleagues in producing analyses, creation of market access strategies, resources and implementation of these locally. The Lead will also work together with Medical Affairs and Commercial to ensure strong value communication to, and value appreciation by, payer authorities at National, Regional and Hospital level, in both Hospital and Retail channels.
Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic market access initiatives, overseeing the AMNOG reimbursement process for Mundipharma brands, with a strong focus on the launch of Rezzayo. Ensure timely market access by addressing reimbursement challenges and payer dynamics across the brand portfolio.

Develop and implement tailored market access strategies, including pricing models, clinical development integration, and payer negotiation frameworks. Manage high-level relationships with stakeholders such as iQWIG, GBA, and Krankenkassen, ensuring ethical and transparent engagement.

Act as the internal expert on payer and provider engagement, creating and deploying hospital and retail channel strategies, tools, and advisory boards. Drive best practices across the organization by designing training programs for commercial teams to enhance reimbursement success.

Collaborate with key external groups, including healthcare professionals, policy influencers, and patient advocacy organizations, to overcome market access barriers and proactively address political or technical obstacles that could impact reimbursement.

Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, and Global Market Access teams to adapt global strategies to local markets, support commercial objectives, and advance patient access to innovative treatments.
Qualifications

Advanced English proficiency, enabling effective communication and collaboration with global teams across all levels & Fluency in German

Deep expertise in HTA and AMNOG processes, including market access strategies, payer negotiations, and successful leadership in at least 3 product launches, ensuring market entry and value recognition.

Proven leadership in stakeholder engagement, with a strong network of reimbursement and payer stakeholders, and the ability to drive value-based contracting and cross-functional collaboration.

Comprehensive knowledge of value strategy and evidence planning, leading the development of HTA strategies, risk mitigation, and access resources. Skilled in guiding teams through complex reimbursement challenges.

Strong compliance and technical expertise, ensuring adherence to ethical standards, with a focus on pharmacoeconomic analysis, outcomes research, and leveraging clinical data for market access strategies.
