Job Responsibilities:
Tasks may include but will not be limited to:
- Lead engineering changes as per Drive procedure - on time / within budget / within procedure / proper documentation that can easily pass any required audits - total coordination.
- APQP and FMEA lead for engineering changes.
- Lead monthly RPN reduction meetings based upon high RPN values, customer concerns, high scrap rates and other concerns.
- Ensure feasibility studies and team review is completed as per engineering procedures.
- Weekly engineering change meeting attendance.
- Weekly meet and greet with partner production teams / leads to ensure they feel supported properly by engineering
- Perform other duties as required.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor Degree in a technical related discipline or 5-7 years related automotive experience with sound understanding of BIW build fit & function.
TECHNICAL TRAINING:
- Must have an understanding in the following areas, die / die process, assembly tooling, welding & sealer applications, CMM & datum alignment, data processing & reporting, customer tolerancing concepts

- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Project, Word.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
