i2 Group, a Harris Computer company, are seeking a Manual Tester to assist in testing their windows desktop applications, ANB and iBase. This is a full-time, permanent, remote working position to be based in the UK.
What you will do
In performing this role, your core duties and responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
· Develop and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
· Identify, document, and track defects using Jira
· Perform functional, regression, system, and exploratory testing.
· Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve defects.
· Conduct usability and performance testing to enhance software quality.
· Ensure compliance with industry best practices and testing standards.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can bring drive and energy to quality at i2. Attention to detail is critical, with the initiative to deliver continuous improvements to the manual testing processes at i2. This is a fast-changing environment, so flexibility and adaptability are key to success, coupled with a pragmatic understanding of users’ needs.
Experiences that will make your application stand out:
Technical Skills:
· Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies.
· Experience in writing test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
· Basic knowledge of automation testing is a plus.
Soft Skills:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to think critically.
· Strong communication and documentation skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· ISTQB Certification (a plus).
· Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum teams
Travel
This role may require occasional travel to conferences and customer visits.
