Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting in implementing and then marketing Websters FX hedging platform / FX product capabilities to commercial bank customers in line with the overall commercial bank strategy
  • Structure, price and execute FX derivatives with customers and bank counterparties
  • Develop business in relation to new clients / opportunities or new products with existing clients in the commercial bank via attending relevant commercial bank pipeline meetings, being in contact with relationship managers, providing content, being part of & attending joint or solo business development customer calls & presentations
  • Provide ongoing relationship management to existing customers within the commercial bank portfolio
  • Be creative in idea generation, maintain awareness of market trends & structure solutions to meet customers’ needs
  • Provide thought leadership on markets to customers as part of business development and relationship management
  • Be proactive, meet targets, be commercially minded and help clients achieve their financial goals 
  • Maintain and foster a collaborative approach to working with customers in conjunction with commercial bankers
  • Build and maintain relationships with all Derivative Sales stakeholders to facilitate business
  • Be well managed, have attention to detail, be motivated and proactive and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team 
  • Enhance the Webster Bank customer experience over and above the lending relationship  

Education, Skills & Experience:

  • BS required with Finance or Economics preferred
  • 10+ years of FX sales experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of financial instruments and capital markets, with knowledge of Excel and Bloomberg

The estimated salary range for this position is $200,000 USD to $225,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
