The Project Management Office for the business sector is made up of approximately 40 project management specialists. They help project sponsors, project teams, sector managers, IT partners and external suppliers develop and deliver projects. The department contributes to various projects in the business portfolio, covering various fields like capital markets, data and analytics, and digital transformation. In addition to your role as Manager, Project Management Office , you also act as a delivery manager to ensure collaborative leadership in execution and delivery, allowing plan sponsors to focus on creating value for members and clients. You’ll work in matrix management mode in this role. More specifically, you will be required to:

Adopt management and communication practices to facilitate change management, attract and retain talent, develop skills, engage teams and promote diversity, while upholding the organization’s values.

Support the administrative unit’s business plan by managing individual and team performance.

Coach high-calibre project management project leaders, implement and monitor individual skills development plans for a team of approximately 40 people.

Be responsible for managing projects from your department’s functions while meeting business objectives, deadlines and budgets.

Provide collaborative leadership in execution and delivery so that project sponsors can focus on creating value for members and clients.

Collaborate with key managers, project sponsors and delivery teams (including suppliers) and develop partnerships with IT and business sector teams to optimize solution development and rollout.

Make sure that conditions are always optimal for successful execution throughout the project or program life cycle to create value for members and clients.

Lead implementation best practices for carrying out and taking action to ensure that practices are adopted.

Maintain winning conditions for delivery through ongoing dialogue with key project stakeholders.

Suggest the delivery approach that’s best suited for the context and business strategies.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field
-
A minimum of nine years of relevant experience, including five years in a management role

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Project management experience, primarily in a context of cross-sector delivery in a complex environment

Experience in coaching

PMI licence
-
Knowledge of French is required

Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
