As Manager WES Software EMEA, you will lead the strategic and operational development of our WES and IT teams. This includes establishing governance structures to scale the company and driving software business development in the EMEA region while building long-term customer relationships.
We seek a passionate Manager WES Software (m/f/d) to oversee daily operations, manage WES/WCS IT projects from design to integration, and ensure smooth business operations. Our modular WES/WCS software for AutoStore is backed by over 30 years of R&D, providing reliable integration with any host system.
Your tasks
- Strategic Development: You will implement a long-term software strategy, support project execution and software development, establish governance for sustainable growth, and analyze market trends.
- Software Sales & Business Development: You will manage software sales in the EMEA region, build long-term customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and execute effective sales strategies.
- Leadership & Team Development: You will lead the software and IT teams, foster team growth through targeted training, understand customer needs, manage projects, oversee testing, and report on project status.
Your profile
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Several years of hands-on experience with WMS, WCS, and WES software solutions.
- In-depth expertise in software development and digital business models.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing IT projects, ideally within the intralogistics sector.
- Familiarity with hardware planning and agile methodologies is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills in German (native) and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- A willingness to travel as needed.
