Maintains stewardship for financial assets and debt including overall leadership of banking relationships, enterprise cash management, debt management and investment management functions of the organization and its affiliated entities. Manages and monitors the company’s investment and debt positions according approved investment policies while ensuring the company’s compliance with debt covenants. Ensures the maintenance of corporate liquidity and financial stability and develops and manages strategies, operations, policies and budgets relating to all treasury activities. Directs development and revision of financial policies for capital structure, working capital, treasury operations, foreign exchange interest rate risk management, insurance risk management and the company’s Merchant Service processing and vendor relationships. Directs capital markets, borrowing, investing, foreign exchange, treasury operations, financial risk management and corporate finance initiatives. Supervises the internal controls designed to safeguard corporate assets and the integrity of its fiscal systems.

Responsible for leading the company’s treasury function including strategic investing, cash forecasting and management and the daily administration of Treasury operations. Direct supervisory responsibility for Treasury staff employees and their activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Monitors and manages the daily cash position of the company to ensure it is consistent with expected cash flow needs. Evaluates and optimizes capital expenditures, investment opportunities and portfolio management.
  • Develops and manages enterprise rolling 13-week cash forecasts to ensure proper business performance and planning.
  • Manages all financial or compliance risks related to Treasury operations, including SOX and other regulatory compliance as required.
  • Administers the company’s banking and investment accounts including assisting internal stakeholders with applications as needed.
  • Functions as company intermediary with banks and Merchant Service processors.
  • Monitors and optimizes investment opportunities within guidelines of approved investment policies.
  • Develops interest, income and expense forecast for annual budget and forecasts.
  • Monitors the maintenance of debt and manages debt compliance according to corporate debt guidelines.
  • Manages the company's insurance programs, including general liability, Property & Casualty, Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability, Cyber/Privacy Liability, Workers' Compensation and all other insurance policies and ensures levels of coverage are appropriate for business operations.
  • Maintain key relationships with insurance brokers and manage annual renewal process.
  • Follows prescribed legal guidelines and requirements.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years of full-time experience in Treasury management, strategic investing and cash forecasting is required is required.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to professionally interact with employees at all levels of the company. 
  • Must have proven ability to collaborate with others to understand and complete project goals. 
  • Must have excellent time management and decision-making skills and be able to prioritize and organize tasks and projects. 
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing timelines effectively. 
  • Must have proven ability to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to complex problems.
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and works effectively and collaboratively across various departments to meet goals and deadlines. 
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). 
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work independently with little or no direct supervision.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently with a strong awareness of common usability methodology. 
  • Must demonstrate the ability to function in a team environment where peer cooperation is required to successfully perform job duties.
  • Experience hiring and leading diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Treasury Professional
  • Advance degree in relevant discipline

Education/ Licensing/Certification:

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business or a related field or any combination of education and experience is required.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods at a time.

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
