We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Tax Content Manager to join our Content Solutions team which brings tax professionals in Australia and New Zealand the next-generation digital research platform, CCH iKnowConnect. Come and join a market leader in tax information.

This is a full-time role with flexible working conditions.

As a Tax Content Manager you will:

  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance content and workflow solutions for accountants to support the efficiency and accuracy of their tax compliance and tax advisory services.
  • Draw on your tax experience and knowledge to create practical content for use by tax professionals in accounting firms or in-house tax teams
  • Lead a team of Content Analysts to direct the practical content and workflow solutions strategy, collaborating with product and commercial teams, to shape customer experiences that drive broader business goals

Responsibilities:

  • Create analytical, practical and actionable content and tools for tax professionals to access via our Wolters Kluwer digital research platform, CCH iKnowConnect
  • Exercise subject matter expertise in tax law and tax compliance requirements to conduct ongoing reviews to refine and enhance existing content and workflow solutions and tools (including Excel-based calculators and workpapers)
  • Monitor and update content and workflow solutions to reflect changes in tax law, ensuring timely publication of content
  • Create actionable content to help accountants stay updated with tax law changes
  • Understand the workflow and needs of accountants to enable them to advise clients and stakeholders on tax positions and business decisions; collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback for content development
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the needs of your customer group and create content to meet these needs; monitor customer feedback and business intelligence to inform the customer experience; execute content strategies to improve customer recruitment and retention
  • Direct, influence, and coordinate external content contributors
  • Manage a team of 3 Content Analysts

About You:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Australian tax compliance and advisory services
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce, finance or law or a related field
  • CPA or CA, or related professional certification
  • Interest in developing technology solutions for accountants and tax advisors in Australia
  • Knowledge of Australian tax law and accounting requirements, particularly the accounting workflows and tax compliance process in the small to medium enterprises, including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and self-managed superannuation funds.
  • Deep knowledge of topics such as Division 7A and CGT concessions
  • Knowledge or experience with New Zealand tax compliance desirable
  • Able to translate highly technical legal detail into engaging content for client comprehension
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience using Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Able to coordinate tasks and manage deadlines effectively
  • Experience with legal research databases and tools desirable.
