The Manager, Strategy & Analytics is responsible for supporting the build of strategy and tactics to achieve organizational goals, preparing senior leadership presentations, performing qualitative / quantitative analysis, driving data and insights decentralization, helping to refine data pipelines and improve data structure, and updating existing and build new models.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who combines business acumen with technical expertise to drive meaningful change – from the strategy perspective, to help develop, communicate, implement and track strategic priorities; from the analytics perspective, to uncover, communicate, and implement actionable insights.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy, the Manager will have significant exposure to senior management with the opportunity to work closely with various business unit leaders across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted thought partner, working with key stakeholders to develop and maintain a cohesive narrative of strategic outlook, opportunities, and key drivers
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and track KPIs for initiatives and projects, and support business unit leaders to achieve company objectives
  • Lead in the preparation of management presentations, including but not limited to business cases, monthly / quarterly business reviews, and other executive updates.
  • Develop a deep understanding of key business questions and proactively design analyses that effectively address and solve for these needs
  • Analyze data, research, and leverage business acumen to distill actionable insights and recommendations, as well as validate assumptions and key drivers
  • Drive analytics by updating existing models, creating new models, and identifying opportunities to improve company performance and profits
  • Devise creative solutions to address data quality issues and improve data collection processes
  • Collaborate with data engineers to refine data pipelines and improve overall data architecture
  • Where needed, drive data and insights decentralization by developing new and maintaining existing Power BI dashboards

 

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in strategy and/or analytics
  • Excellence PowerPoint skills is critical with emphasis on ability to synthesize complex information in a concise and structured manner for senior leadership
  • Advanced Excel is essential with emphasis on the ability to manipulate complex financial and operational data
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent people skills with ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment with significant change, ambiguity and adapting to evolving organizational requirements
