Manager, Software Quality Standards & Audit (Hybrid)

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

You will lead a team of Software Engineers in Test dedicated to defining, implementing, and enforcing quality standards across Moneris. You will combine technical leadership, audit/compliance oversight, and collaboration skills.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

• Attract, hire and retain a team a team of Software Engineers in Test responsible for defining, implementing, and enforcing quality standards across Moneris.

• Create and maintain quality standards, methodologies, and processes that use modern testing frameworks and align to industry best practices

• Design and implement audit processes to verify compliance with these standards

• Manage and ensure remediation steps are taken when quality standards are not met, up to and including stopping a team from releasing software

• Promote quality and develop training programs/material/workshops to help developers adopt testing bets practices

• Create and maintain documentation for testing best practices, providing a clear and updated knowledge base for teams.

• Work collaboratively to update and roll out new standards to development

• Establish and track metrics to measure both the effectiveness of quality improvements and the use of standards across the organization.

• Use data to identify trends, highlight successes, and focus on areas needing further refinement.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

• 5+ years as a developer building secure, scalable web applications

• 5+ years writing test automation at all levels (unit, API, UI) applying modern testing tools

• 3+ years GitHub, experience with GitHub actions is a plus

• 5+ years of people management experience

• Expert verbal and written communication skills at all levels of an organization

• Collaboration skills, comfortable engaging other teams collaboratively and leading through influence

• A naturally suspicious, trust but verify disposition

• Immune to peer/social pressures, unwavering quality compass
