Q2 is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for the Helix Engineering Team. This individual will be responsible for leading an innovative team which focuses on an industry leading BaaS/Embedded Finance solution and enables FinTechs and neo banks to disrupt the banking industry.
We are looking for a technical/servant leader who gets excited about building and mentoring engineers, but also loves to work on high scale/high volume systems. The ideal candidate not only has technical/hands on background, but has the ability to identify process, people, and technology gaps. This individual will use business metrics to identify opportunities and use their ability to influence others, to keep teams and systems running with high efficiency.
Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 4+ years of experience.
  • 1 -2 years managing and developing employees.
  • Agile delivery experience required
  • Experience within a large data in near real-time/rapid response environment
  • Strong team leadership qualities with proven experience growing and mentoring teams
  • Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies
  • Experience building, growing, motivating and mentoring high-performance teams
  • Articulate, thorough, and process-minded
  • The ability to identify process, people, and technology opportunities through subjective and objective methods.


This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
