We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Ad Tech Team, which plays a critical role in ad targeting, privacy compliance, and ad performance monitoring. This role combines strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to drive the development of systems that ensure compliance, improve revenue, and resolve ad performance issues through robust tracking and alerting solutions. You Will...
Technical Leadership
- Define and execute the technical strategy for ad targeting, privacy compliance, and ad performance monitoring systems.
- Oversee the development of systems for ad tracking, monitoring, alerting, and data analysis to optimize revenue and identify ad performance issues.
- Champion best practices in software development, experimentation, and agile methodologies.
Team Development & Talent Management
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering an inclusive and innovative environment.
- Provide career guidance and clear performance expectations to ensure team success.
Operational Efficiency
- Drive the creation of scalable, efficient, and reliable systems to monitor and improve ad performance.
- Ensure that solutions adhere to privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and incorporate effective consent management.
Strategic AdTech Vision & Execution
- Align team objectives with business goals and develop actionable roadmaps to achieve them.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in ad tech and incorporate them into team strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and ad operations teams to refine ad targeting strategies and improve the ad experience.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders to align priorities and resolve roadblocks.
You Have...
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable systems for ad tracking, monitoring, and alerting.
- Strong technical background in backend systems, data engineering, and privacy compliance.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of ad tech standards, frameworks (OpenRTB, IAB), and consent management systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for mentoring engineers and building high-performing teams.
