Manager Services - Internal Audit -SOX

What you'll be doing:


  • To make sure that a company is conducting its business in full compliance with all national and international laws and regulations that pertain to our industry, as well as professional standards,accepted business practices.
  • Draft, modify and implement company policies wherever necessary
  • Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
  • · Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
  • · Conducting Compliance training, educating employees on the laws, regulations and company policies that apply to their day-to-day job responsibilities. This training can assist in creating a safe, hospitable and respectful workplace as well as detecting and/or avoiding compliance violations.
  • · Collaborate with departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
  • · Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
  • · Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
  • · Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
  • · Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
  • · Overall General Accounting Knowledge is must
  • · Should be well-versed with Internal Audits, SOX Framework and Corporate Risk Managemen


What you'll need:


  • · CA with minimum 15-20 years of post-qualification experience in Internal Audit
  • · Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and governance framework
  • · Strong communication skills for negotiation & reconciliation
  • · Self-motivated
  • · Commercially focused with a strong Client service approach
  • · Strong experience in People Management
  • · Adept in managing & leading teams for running successful process operations and experience of
  • developing procedures & service standards for business excellence.
  • · An effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal skills with
  • proficiency in explaining complex financial data.
  • · Calm under pressure.
